Rebecca Romijn To Appear On Project Runway

Tune into Project Runway tonight to see two of our favorite model moms share their fashion expertise.

Rebecca Romijn, who welcomed twins Charlie and Dolly with her husband Jerry O'Connell last December, will be appearing as a guest judge on the hit show. The Ugly Betty star will join a panel which includes Michael Kors, Nina Garcia and, of course, host Heidi Klum.

Heidi, who is expecting baby #4 with her husband Seal this fall, recently dished on her maternity style:
My stylist tries to find things that are not maternity clothes, so I've been wearing a lot from The Row, by Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen. I love their clothes. Marc Jacobs too. You just buy things in a size 10 - when you're doing a show on fashion, you still have to bring it on."

America Ferrera Is a Giant Hotdog on 'Ugly Betty'

Entering its fourth season, "Ugly Betty" is still nowhere near pretty. America Ferrera was spotted filming an outdoor scene on Tuesday, August 25 with a giant hotdog as her costume. She was accompanied on the lower Manhattan set by Michael Urie who became the hotdog bun.

Daily Mail reported that the costume was uncomfortable enough to cause Ferrera pulling angry faces during the filming. Furthermore, due to the complication of the outfit, the actress asked her assistant to feed her banana during the break between scenes.

After nearly being canceled, "Ugly Betty" is to premiere on October 9. Paula Abdul has retracted from being a guest star reportedly due to some demands which are not met. She is replaced by Kristen Johnston who will tackle the role of an office temp named Helen. "[Helen is] Amanda in 10 years," Johnston said, comparing it to Becki Newton's character. "She's still trying to get into the right clubs, wearing tight dresses... tragic."

Being a show that embraces Latino cultures, "Ugly Betty" is nominated for several categories at the upcoming ALMA Awards. Cast America Ferrera, Ana Ortiz, Mark Indelicato and Tony Plana as well as producers Salma Hayek and Silvio Horta are among the honorees of Year in Television categories.

Paula Abdul Doesn't Get Ugly Betty Role Due To Demands

Paula Abdul, recently fired by American Idol as a celebrity judge, will not be joining the cast of Ugly Betty like she wanted to. Producers of the hit comedy show said that Abdul's demands removed her from consideration for the part.

An assistant producer said that; "First, Paula wanted us to give her a private jet with a pilot. She also demanded that the pilot be in his early twenties and either black or hispanic with a, in her words, tight little butt."

"Next, she wanted up to change the name of our show from Ugly Betty to Pretty Paula and make her the feature character."

"Third, she wanted not only a private trailer, which is pretty standard, but she also wanted a second private trailer that was a fully stocked bar with a nightclub type dance floor and a disco ball."

A representative of Abdul's agency said that Paula is now in negotiations to join several other shows. The possibilities include:

'Ugly Betty' scoop: Kristen Johnston in, Paula Abdul out

Take note, American Idol: This is how you replace Paula Abdul.

Ugly Betty has tapped 3rd Rock Emmy winner Kristen Johnston to replace Abdul in the now-recurring role of Helen, Mode’s newest office temp and Amanda’s elder doppelganger. Abdul had been in negotiations to play the part, but last week the deal came undone — in part, I hear, due to the ex-Idol judge’s insane list of demands. (Two words: Private. Jet.)

“I’ve always considered myself a poor man’s Paula Abdul,” Johnston says with a laugh. She describes her Betty character as “Amanda in 10 years. She’s still trying to get into the right clubs, wearing tight dresses… tragic. I think [Helen] sees herself as Samantha from Sex and the City. Except, of course, she’s a temp.”

Johnston will first appear in the second half of Betty’s two-hour premiere on Oct. 9.

'Ugly Betty' Star to Intern for Carolina Herrera

Mark Indelicato (actor of ugly betty) was totally fearless when he was granted a tour of Carolina Herrera's NYC showroom last week. During the tour, Betty's nephew managed to gather the chutzpah to show his fledgling designs to the legendary couturiere.

Apparently, the young actor has been working on a denim line he's planning to create.

Herrera was taken by the youngster's confidence, and reportedly, the designer sketches didn't hurt either. "Carolina was impressed by his originality," says an insider. "She offered Mark an internship on the spot."

First, Indelicato is cast in a monster hit TV show, and now he lands an internship with an internationally famous and respected designer—some kids have all the luck!

Paula Abdul Crawling Back to American Idol?

Surprisingly, Paula Abdul, who often showed up to work on live national television wasted, is realizing that $4 million a year to critique singers while coming down off a pain pill high is a decent wage and therefore she is having second thoughts about playing hardball with American Idol producers.

Last week it was reported that Paula was courting ABC execs for possible stints on Dancing with the Stars and Ugly Betty. However, TMZ is saying that now Paula has no interest in either of those shows because she's pissed at ABC producers for leaking the news that she was in talks with them.

The problem for Paula is that it sounds like Idol producers aren't budging, however, and it doesn't look like they're willing to give her the $10 million per year she wants. It looks like Paula may be the one willing to negotiate down - now that the harsh reality is setting in of what might be in store for her career - like a bit part on Ugly Betty or sitting next to Bruno Tonioli as he screams thinly veiled sexual innuendos, which he passes off as critiques.

Look who's returning to Ugly Betty

He would not stay away for long, and goshdarnit, I believed in this issue, and actually Grant Bowler has inked a deal with Ugly Betty to reprise his role as Wilhelmina's crooked ex, Connor, for multiple episodes, sources confirm to me exclusively.

Last seen at the end of season 3, Connor fled town after Betty discovered that he had embezzled millions from Meade Publications. Willie spent the rest of the season mending her broken heart-a process I'm guessing will spill over into the fall.
